Rachael & Abby updates

Rachael is working on potty training again after her first setback. We are now trying to reestablish daytime training. She is back to wearing her big girl Dora undies!

Rachael is a great big sister, she takes care of Abby just as good as Mommy does. She wipes Abby's nose when it is running, she gets Abby her toys when she wants them, she gives Abby lots of hugs and kisses.

Rachael's favorite things to do: read books (all her Look & Find books, picture books), wooden puzzles, colouring.

Rachael is learning: colours and shapes

Abby is cutting her newest tooth, number 4. She has a runny nose and is not sleeping well at night. She is waking once or twice to eat and snuggle back to sleep.

Abby is learning so much these days:
-Words that she says: mama, cup, map, pop, get, ball.
-She has walked alone and unassisted from one couch to the next (approx. 8 feet)
-She can find her: car, ball, giraffe, Lily frog, zebra, phone upon request. She can ring the doorbell on her cottage when asked, wave hi or bye, clap or pat-a-cake upon request. When you tell her to say "hi on the phone" she puts her hand to her ear.
-She dances upon request.
-Clicks her tongue.

She has also perfected the fine art of annoying Rachael.
